This fascinating picture shows Kartik Nach, an important traditional tantrik dance performed in the Nepali month of Kartik in the Kathmandu Valley. The dance portrays various incidents in the life of Kartikeya, also known as Bhairav who is the patron deity of the Newar people of Patan where we have two of our supported schools.
