"Hi mum & dad, got here safely, all Buddha'd out after today! Love you, Jenny."
All four teachers from Haverigg safely last night in Kathmandu and were up at the crack of dawn this morning for a full schedule which included a trip to Swayambhu Buddhist temple, a ceremony with our family priest for education and teachers, a breakfast in Patan Durbar Square, a visit to Bal Bigyan school, followed by a sudden strike called by Maoist groups which led to gridlock across Kathmandu and our being unable to reach the Vice President of Nepal's residence for an afternoon tea party! Bugger.
The big stuff starts tomorrow with the launch of our teacher development programmes.

Sounds like you're haveing a very busy time, you're all gonna need a week off to recover when you get back! Have fun, love Amie xx
Glad its all feeling like work - its means you're doing what you do best... meetings, presentations, board rooms...Focus & Structure! I know you HAVE secretly missed it all. I have every confidence its all going well, although I don't doubt that its tough going. Keep up the momentum, this is what you have both worked so hard for. Try and find time to enjoy it too. Good luck over the next few days, Michael and I will of course be waiting to hear how it all goes.
By the way, Manjushree looks very clean and swept! Nice picture, hope the ceremony was enjoyable. Hope you were able to open my photos I sent you.
Shazzy xx
