Doesn't this picture just make you smile, I can almost feel the excitement of these children as they carry their new furniture into the classroom.
Since our teacher training programme ended we discovered a number of physical barriers preventing the implementation of child centred learning, one of which was furniture and classroom layout. So we have initiated an experiment to refurbish two classrooms in two schools and the picture shows the "arrival" at Lalit Kalyan school.
If anybody would like to help refurbishing one classroom we have initiated The Classroom Project, £450 does the job!

It is fantastic to see this. They can't get them across that playground quick enough! We take so much for granted in UK schools. This will be a huge boost to learning - great stuff!
